There is beauty all around us. It's just a matter of opening our eyes and minds at the same time. I'm finding beauty in colors lately, I'm enjoying chocolate and pink, and am moving to black and red. I'm not sure where all this is going but I'll figure it out. Oh, right, beauty. I found beauty in the back of a Chevy Tahoe today.
The things we do for love. My love for the Oscars and my friend Shane know no bounds. Both hold special places in my heart and both deserve to be celebrated. We're toasting Shane's BDay and the Oscars with food and wine. The meal we are having on Sunday to christen Bob the table will be sung about for years to come. The planning is nominal, the organizing is a pain. But we make do and always find our way to Costco. Costco on the weekends is a kick in the teeth, but if you get in there early enough, you can do your business without too much pain.
In the parking lot I found a silver Chevy Tahoe with this on his bumper where rednecks usually have a trailer hitch. I thought this a necessity for the next Jimmy Buffet/Dave Matthews/Phish/Neil Diamond Concert-Tailgating we go to. The last time I tailgated was with Jo Jo in Hartford. We barbecued and tequila'd. Two grass stained knees, a sprained ankle and hoarse voice later the stars shone down on a magical evening. Aaaaaaah Jo Jo. This driver knows the beauty of economizing. Bring your toys wherever you go, and shop at Costco.
